since first reading Dune in the closing days of my high school experience I have been a Dune fan. I remember an early pivotal scence and then I was just about finished with the book the next day. I had to find the next oneDune Messiah and have been a fan ever since.
This is the first half of the book and the second is well done also.
I continue to have hard cover copies on my book shelf and have a very fond place esp for God Emperoror of Dune
