Integral Ethics: Beyond Relativism & Universalism

Develops integral ethical reasoning — the capacity to deploy appropriate ethical frameworks as skillful means, guided by the developmental level of the situation. Introduces ethical altitude and upāya as the core Teal ethical stance: meeting each being and situation at its actual level of development with the most skillful response, neither collapsing into relativism nor retreating to universalism.

Operationalizes integral leadership as a concrete, practicable set of capacities — drawing on Torbert's action inquiry research and Laloux's Teal organizational research. Develops the ability to hold multiple complete frameworks simultaneously, diagnose the developmental level of a situation, and act from conviction while remaining genuinely open. This is not a personality type but a developmental achievement.
