This module maps collective shadow across AQAL quadrants and Spiral Dynamics stages, guides learners through a Cultural Shadow Inventory, Stage Shadow Recognition, and Scapegoating Pattern Analysis, and explores how individual shadow work interfaces with collective healing.
Jung's persona — the social mask worn to meet external expectations — is the direct complement to the shadow. What is excluded from the persona accumulates in the shadow. This module guides learners through the developmental and cultural dimensions of persona formation, the Persona Inventory across five life domains, the Role vs. Self distinction exercise, and a graduated practice in persona flexibility.
The positive shadow — disowned strengths, gifts, and capacity projected onto admired figures — is often more transformative to reclaim than working negative shadow. This module guides learners through the Admiration Inventory, Idealization Archaeology, and reverse 3-2-1 practices, with special attention to the Amber → Rational transition and the grief and inflation risks that accompany reclamation.
